"With every task I take on, I filter it through 'art heals: creativity is authenticity’ filter. I don’t want to be, nor do I pretend to be a therapist. I share the power of creativity. I want others to release themselves from their self-limiting beliefs. I know creativity can access a deep place in our psyche, bring up some water from that deep dark well, and express it in order to release it and let our selves grow."

"When I went to Timm’s creative space, she completely let me into how her mind works. Everything is built upon layers, whether that’s ideas, or art pieces. Bits of old maps, images, drawings, photographs, old letters from family, lots of scraps, all combined with her favorite color pallet (which constantly evolves), weaves together to come her amazing pieces".

"I just feel like we are all creative individuals," says Timm. "Creative expression can be writing, art, music - it can be the away you get dressed in the morning. But when you stifle that, something else gets stifled. When we're numb, we can't feel the full expression of any emotion."
