Clothing you with social+environmental conscious apparel
I have long loved the idea of wearing locally sourced, made, designed clothing that is not hurting the environment. Not an easy ask in an industry that has fast become an embarrassment of riches. However, it is now possible, with the dawn of new entrepreneurs that are passionate about supporting ethical and social practices whilst making money!
Like Miss. Kelsey of good+wild, she has always loved clothing, business and knew when she discovered the slow fashion industry it was those sustainable methods and values she would base her company on. She is also a yoga instructor! Which led her to focus her apparel on active and casual wear. She is looking forward to continue growing her retail company and developing her own clothing line. #wecannotwait!
I met Kelsey and her line of clothing whilst shopping the #YYC East Village Junction this past summer. I immediately felt connected and wanted to collaborate with her. SO cheers to that happening, and hopefully to a few more cool gigs to come!
